This much-loved classic South African dish is a delicious mixture of lightly curried mince with fruit and a golden topping, similar to a moussaka. Dating back to the 17th century, this dish was inspired by Dutch traders (who set up camp in the area that is now Cape Town) on their journeys back and forth to Indonesia. The traders brought spices, cooking techniques, and recipes with them.
Ready in less than 45 minutes, this recipe is perfect for mid-week. You only need a few ingredients, one baking dish and your oven. 100% Natural spice blend.
