Our Rogan Josh curry powder is a starter blend of a spicy, aromatic mix of warming spices which can be used to make Rogan Josh curries or as a flavouring for a variety of Indian dishes.
This curry blend is a medium blend suitable for most palettes, if you prefer a hotter curry add in extra chilli powder or red chilli paste when cooking.
Packed in a 75g re-sealable pouch.
Suggested uses for this blend:
• Mix with a little light oil and tomato puree to make a curry paste and use as a chicken, lamb or fish rub.
• Stir into mayonnaise or yoghurt to make a dip for veggies or crisps.
• Make an authentic Lamb or Chicken Rogan Josh, cook down onion puree, garlic and ginger then combine with diced lamb (or skinless chicken thighs), bay leaves, tomato puree and fresh chopped tomatoes with extra hot water. Sprinkle in a teaspoon of Garam Masala and freshly chopped chilli for more flavour.
• Mix into tomato-based pasta sauces for a curry-spiced twist.
