Our specially blended balti curry powder is an exciting spicy blend of 17 herbs and spices and 5 spice extracts with the addition of salt and wheat flour, and is blended for people who like their curries to be full of the flavours if India. The blend compliments vegetables, poultry, meat and fish.

Ingredients: Mustard Powder, Coriander, Salt, Cumin, Fenugreek, Dill, Fennel, Cardamom, Cassia, Onion Powder, Paprika, Chilli Powder, Cinnamon, Ginger, Pepper, Turmeric, Wheat Flour, Spice Extracts (Turmeric, Paprika, Coriander, Cumin, Asafoetida), Celery & Nutmeg.

Allergy Advice: This product contains the allergens celery, mustard and wheat flour, and also chilli, cumin and black pepper which contain naturally occurring sources of salicylates and are best avoided by people eating a salicylate free diet.


Mix with yogurt to make a spicy marinade for chicken, meat and fish. To make a balti sauce, make a basic curry sauce base using onions, tomatoes and water and add the biryani spice when frying off the onions, don’t allow it to burn or the spices will take on a bitter flavour, when cooked add your chosen meat or vegetables. Sprinkle a little over freshly made popcorn and potato crisps for a spicy savoury twist, why not add a little to a breadcrumb coating for chicken or fish to bring the flavours of India to the table? Use to make marinades and spicy dips and sprinkle on to potato wedges to make spiced wedges.
