Patatas Bravas

This Spanish dish is sweet and spicy (with no added sugar!) and tastes amazing!

We have used our Herb Gourmet, Smokey Cajun and Mongolian BBQ blends to make the flavours pop smile emoticon

Potatas Bravas

Our quick recipe (serves 3)

2 medium potatoes
1 medium sweet potato
1 red onion
1 large clove of garlic, crushed
Tin of chopped tomatoes
Handful of cherry tomatoes
1/2 ball of mozzarella
2 slices of ham
3 eggs
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt
1/2 teaspoon of Smokey Cajun and Mongolian BBQ blend
A good pinch of Herb Gourmet
Rosemary to garnish

Preheat oven to medium to high heat.

Heat oil in large roasting pan until hot

Add potatoes and season with a pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt and a sprinkle of Smokey Cajun blend. Give a good shake to cover

When potatoes are browned and crisp, add chopped tomatoes, onion, garlic and mix in your Smokey Cajun blend.

Cook until sauce is hot. If it is quite watery (as can happen with some chopped tomatoes) drain off some excess liquid.

Top with crumbled mozzarella, ham, cherry tomatoes and egg.

Garnish with Rosemary and pop in the oven.

Cook until hot throughout and egg is cooked.
